Two perennial fashion winners are the LBD and the white t-shirt.
Each season provides a different take on these wardrobe essentials. However, the fashion faux pas of white marks on black or yellow stains under the arms of your white tee can ruin the look.
Apparently, if you Google yellow stains on white clothing you will get an unbelievable 38 million hits. It seems to be something that many people are self conscious about and want a solution to.
In response to this, Nivea have created the first range of antiperspirant deodorants which prevent both white marks and yellow staining.
The range was launched last night at Rialto Cinemas in Newmarket with the screening of the classic black and white romance, Casablanca.
The film was a refreshing step back into another era, where men wore suits and hats on a jaunty angle and women wouldn’t leave the house without perfectly quaffed hair.
The famous line “Here’s looking at you kid” and “This could be the start of a beautiful friendship” remind us of how much of current fashion and popular culture harks back to the romance and heartbreak of the 1930s.
Personal stylist Jackie O’Fee from Signature Style presented a range of hot black and white looks for this season, including the classic James Dean men’s ensemble of leather jacket and white shirt with jeans, while women can pair the white tee with a tailored black waistcoat.
Black and white will always be wardrobe staples so it is great that finally there is a product that can keep those key pieces, which are often an investment, looking as good as the day you first bought them.
Now when you wave farewell to your lover at the airport, as he leaves you forever, you won’t have to worry about an embarrassing yellow stain ruining the tragic beauty of the moment!
