I remember the time I attended our high school dance, or prom as it’s often called. It was a mix of pleasure and pressure!
It was fun in the sense that I was able to spend a magical evening with my date and my friends. On the other hand, it was kinda stressful also because I had a hard time picking what to wear from the many Ball dresses and prom dresses out there. So to keep you stressfree and to maintain your calm before prom, I’ve created a list of a few styles of gorgeous prom dresses and super glamorous cocktail dresses.
Thread’s pick of evening dresses for the Ball or Prom:
1. Romantic Vintage look – a polkadot tulle 1950s Prom Dress. This look is retro but at the same time, so current, and I love the one shoulder detailing. The fuller skirt is ideal if you don’t want a clingy tight skirt on your dress, too, and the tulle layer is so feminine.
2. The Great Gatsby 1920s Flapper Dress. This is so in vogue right now with all the Great Gatsby themed 20s parties, and Titanic dances, and a return to the elegance of the era. It has great movement with these layers, when you dance.
3. Classic Little Black Dress – with a touch of sparkle. This is a wardrobe basic every woman should have – a v-neck, kneelength little black dress. What makes this a bit different is the diamante bling detailing on the left waist.
