Colin said he was playing Prince Charming to our Cinderella, choosing each of us our new shoes to suit.
And at the Number One Shoes’ Summer 2012 launch at De Bretts there wasn’t so much as a glass slipper in sight.
Number One Shoes’ Summer 2012 has three stories, following top fashion trends. This is a recent chang in direction for the brand, towards a trend-driven look.
These trends, seen on their international trips, are a romantic pastel story called Oh You Pretty Thing, the popular colour blocking story, an essentials collection, and a retro story called 70’s hit parade.
Across all the stories, the wedge heel remains strong and platforms and flatforms are key styles.
Animal print has taken a backseat to a floral print in Oh You Pretty Thing, otherwise colours are more important than print, with a myriad of bright, neutral, pastel, or metallic shades.
