ECCO isn’t obsessed with shoes. Sound odd? Rather, they are obsessed with the foot; its shape and the right fit. We can vouch for how super-comfortable they are, after visiting ECCO Newmarket to see the new collections last night.
The Danish family-owned footwear company makes shoes for men, women, children and for hiking too, but it was the colourful and metallics that especially caught our eye at the instore party in Broadway Newmarket on Tuesday 16 August.
Guests learned about the brand philosophy of the Scandinavian brand and caught up with the latest range for summer in soft leathers and strong yak hide – three times stronger than cow.
What really struck me was the great service and how their team really knew their shoes and were so passionate about them, with an infectious enthusiasm.

Some of the great styles to look out for this summer season are the ECCO Bouillon Sandal ($249) for formal and for casual, try the ECCO Summerzone (RRP from $289), Mobile II (RRP $259) and Lite (RRP $269) – modern alternatives to the traditional sneaker.
