Feeling sheepish!

This dual nature means you can nip from soccer to the shops and still look smart. The sole is all moulded and waterproof and the inner is lined in wool for comfort and warmth.

Basically, you really want sheepskin next to your skin in winter; sheepskin (as opposed to acrylic fibres) is warm in winter and cool in the summer months (when it also has amazing moisture-absorbing qualities.)

What I love about the Canterbury Leather Sabina Boot:

• It has 10mm wool sheepskin around your calf and a waterproof base so it’s a hybrid gumboot that is warm and cosy above. It’s business at the bottom, and pleasure up top.
• A zipped inside leg to get them on and off quickly
• An adjustable domed strap for varying leg widths, and also perfect if you are wearing clothes under the boot and need more width to accomodate them.
• Grain leather backstrap and trim so it will just get better looking with age, not peel and break like vinyl does.

Best yet, Canterbury Sheepskin footwear, apparel and accessories are proudly made in New Zealand since they began back in 1974. Ian Hunter, the CEO says he recently gave Kylie Bax a pair of their slippers and she loves them, so even super models wear slippers at home!

I did some photos to show you how you can team boots with skirts, leggings, or a dress, for different looks.
