The Danish family-owned brand makes shoes for men, women, and children as well as outdoor footwear that is famous for its hard-wearing quality production and materials.
I checked out the current AW13 collection of shoes, boots, and bags, at Ecco Milford Mall in Auckland. There was a distinct European look to the new range, with very French-looking patent heel courts that are perfect for the office. For day-to-day wear I loved these Scupltured shoes below. They have a 65mm heel which is still light and flexible. The shoe is shaped anatomically to fit your foot like a glove – yet not cramp your toes (or your style) so you can wear it all day without getting a sore back or feet. Love that.

ECCO Milford Manager Ann Anderson showed me the shoes that won a competition amongst Ecco shoe designers to create the quintessional shoe that sums up the essence of everything Ecco.
