This summer you can wear jack without having to give up the shirt off your back, with the launch of new casual streetwear label, wearingJACK.
Created by New Zealander Alissa Wilson, this launch range, ‘Landed’ consisting of tee-shirts, singlets and hoodies has prints designed by young New Zealanders. Students at universities, polytechs and art and design schools across NZ were invited to submit their artwork for the first wearingJACK range.
And adding to the homegrown feel, the label is 100% made and printed here in New Zealand.
Alissa Wilson is proud of that fact. “With many originally New Zealand-made brands moving to offshore manufacturing, wearingJACK answers a gap in the market for a genuine, Kiwi-made label that’s sweatshop-free.”

“wearingJACK is all about taking fashion back to basics to give Kiwis the casual styles they’ve always loved. New Zealanders love kicking around in something comfy when the number ones aren’t required – and that’s how wearingJACK came about. It’s about casual style, and designs that reflect the humour and attitudes that are inherently Kiwi. ”
