Hayley Iggo is no stranger to fashion having spent the last ten years in the industry both in New Zealand and overseas, so there is no doubt that her new venture will be a hit with lovers of high-end designer labels.

Her new designer pop up store Carrousel will open to keen shoppers this Saturday 4th September at the Quadrant Hotel in Auckland.

Carrousel will showcase discount designer lust-have labels, offering the finest luxury brands at the lowest prices. International brands such as Marc by Marc Jacobs, See by Chloe, DKNY, D&G, Alice & Olivia, Rebecca Taylor, Lululemon and more.

Hayley has vast experience in the industry working in London as the head womenswear buyer for www.oli.co.uk designing ranges on behalf of celebrities Jodie Kidd and Jasmine Guinness and translating catwalk ranges onto the high street with established British designers PPQ, Maria Grauchvogal, Josh Vicary and Sinha Stanic.

A move back to New Zealand saw Hayley working as Senior Buyer for menswear store Hallensteins looking after their casual range. Her designs featuring in this summer and winter season.

Like a lot of people who travel and settle back in New Zealand, Hayley found the shopping quite depressing paying such inflated prices and with a strong focus on New Zealand designers she saw a gap in the market to offer international brands.

This resulted in the establishment of her own business which will trade via website and exclusive invitation-only pop up sales. “I decided it was about time New Zealand had its own version of The Outnet www.theoutnet.com without the crazy shipping costs” she says.

“As a buyer you travel the world and I have always tagged on an extra few days to search out all the best bargains wherever I have been travelling. I’ve always come back laden with the most amazing pieces that I have paid a pittance for making my friends incredibly jealous.

“I travel the world bringing sale-savvy shoppers back an edited collection of timeless investment pieces at prices that won’t break the bank.”

The website and pop-up sales feature limited stock of hand-picked items chosen for their style from the most delectable of international brands.

Carrousel launches on Saturday, 4th September at the Quadrant Hotel, Apartment 2302 from 10am – 6pm.

Guests will be able to enjoy a glass of wine or champagne and try things on at their leisure in either of the two bedrooms or bathroom creating an intimate boutique environment where people can shop up a storm.

Carrousel’s website is currently under construction by designer Anna Coe, and will be launched in time for the party season.
