Sophie Burrows’ AW11 collection titled ‘London is Burning’ has been loosely themed along London city.

Reflections on the river themes and rainy winter days washing the city with shades of grey. The mystery, intrigue and rock and roll chic of the dark alleyways, night passages and the river walkways. Soft sheer silks team up with the puddle splasher print and sequin blazers for a new edgy sophistication.

The black and white graphic print is the signature print for the Autumn Winter collection, shown below on the shorts and blazer.

"This dress (no 4) is the alley cat; a rectangle shape with long sleeves that can be worn as a top tucked into shorts (that’s what I’m wearing today – tucked into rust coloured suede shorts)" says Sophie.

"It can also be worn as a dress belted (pictured) and it can also be tied at the shoulders with ribbon or a brooch so that it becomes sleeveless. It’s very versatile."

"The other dress is the Buckingham dress (spaghetti straps) which comes in red as well and can be worn belted (silk belt comes with the dress) …

…or loose but can also be tied at the sides with the triangular pieces or at the front so it turns into a baby doll dress. The dress is the exact same on the back and it is also fully lined so you do not need a slip."
