LG may officially stand for Life’s Good but my new LG mobile is Lookin’ Good; it’s sleek and stylish, has matte metal casing and was a lifesaver at Fashion Week as it could connect to the Wi-Fi with Android.
What is it? The new GT540 Bluetooth mobile phone from LG.
What does it do? It has a lovely big 3 inch touch LCD screen, a 3 megapixel camera, GPS, wi-fi and uses the Android operating system.
What’s Android? An Android phone is a mobile phone that runs Google’s Android operating system. Android is different from iPhone’s operating system so you can’t run software that is made for iPhone on a Android phone. Some software vendors make separate versions for each OS.
Advantages? It is state of the art AND it looks great, what more can a girl ask for? It is a mobile office in your clutch purse. It’s perfect for social media and updating Twitter and Facebook.
Disadvantages? You do have to press fairly hard on the buttons. It is a bit overzealous and locks itself really quickly, sometimes mid-usage, so you have to unlock it by sliding the lock on the homescreen.
Below: Using the LG. It’s manicure friendly.
Fashion Week essentials: clutch purse, delegates tags, M.A.C and ghd room pass, and the LG GT540.
Me using the GT540 to photograph models walking at the Karen Walker show at The Department Store show in Fashion Week.
