Max launched its high summer Cabaret collection of party wear with shiny sequins and pretty beaded frocks, at a champagne evening with a live cabaret singer in their flagship Queen Street store.
Below: the collection has plenty of sparkle perfect for evening events, cocktails and weddings – with not a lot of colour and pattern made up solely in the beading and sequin detailing.
Key colours include classics like ivory, black, gold and silver, and a subtle shade of dusky pink.
Prices range from Crochet Dresses at $159, a Shift Dress at $149, an art deco print Deco Shift Dress at $179 and up to a beaded pearl Drape Back Dress for $249. The Max Cabaret Collection is instore and online from Monday 29 October.
