In June, I headed in for an eye test and new glasses.
I went to Specsavers Takapuna two weeks ago and had an eye test and the optometrist was very friendly and professional and made the whole process easy and comfortable. Turns out lucky that I had an eye check as my eyesight had got slightly worse and apparently loads of people missed their regular check over COVID so do get your eyes checked.

The adidas Originals frames are priced from $299 with an adidas logo case.
Yuen Sum Cheung, Head of Frame Development at Specsavers, said: “We are delighted to announce the global launch of our latest designer eyewear brand with the iconic sportswear brand adidas. Celebrating the coming together of two distinct brands appealing to distinct customers who enjoy expressing their individuality through their personal style.”
“Taking cues from urban street style the collection incorporates the brand’s instantly recognisable colour palette, featuring modern silhouettes and iconic adidas branding.”

Fashion meets heritage
The Originals Eyewear collection perfectly encapsulates the casual fashion and heritage values of adidas Originals. Classic blues and Stan Smith greens stand out in contrast with handcrafted crystal frames and gold foil logos.
