Zabbana handbags are the creation of Kelly Lawrence, sister of clothing designer (and winner of numerous design awards) Nikki L – talk about a talented family!
Before launching her unique collection of handbags and jewellery in January 2008, Kelly studied design, art history and life drawing at the Hungry Creek Art and Craft School, jewellery techniques at the Manukau Institute of Technology and worked for a year in the jewellery wholesale business here in New Zealand.
Kelly now designs Zabbana handbags in New Zealand before heading up to Indonesia where her limited edition bags are handcrafted in soft, fine, quality leather. Handbags that are fun, functional and incredibly stylish.
Her Winter 2010 collection includes wearable satchels, handbags, clutches, wallets and cuffs in tones of black, caramel and sand buttery-soft leather with on-trend stud and zip detailing.
Kelly has also designed some beautiful and original pendants like the adorable Spanish folklore inspired "Worry Not Doll" and the clean lines of the "ABC" collection (featuring Apple, Cherries or a Boat) which look just as great when worn separately or with 2-3 together at once.
