We checked out the new Saben Says footwear collection, by designer Roanne Jacobson, where the wedge and clog reign supreme and the military theme is a strong favourite, with laced-up boots and animal prints also popular.

Wood-look wedges and winter clogs are adorned with studs. The military boot has us joining the forces with its chunky heel or flat sole adorned with buckles, straps, zips and laces.

Here are their top trends for Winter 2011:

* Aviator – shearling-trim – no better way to keep feet toasty
* Riding boot – great with skinny denim and ideal for the great outdoors
* Masculine – flat lace-ups, loafers or brogues
* Feminine – low kitten heels, new court shoe shapes, frills and trims on ballets
* Animal print – leopard, pony or ocelot – anything goes as long as it’s faux!
* Wedges – ultimate comfortable chic, whether boots or shoes, casual or dressy
* Ankle bootie – lace-up, brogue or chelsea styles, with elastic, straps and studs
* Clogs /wood heel – the summer clog translates seamlessly into a boot
* Hi-top boot – canvas or skate – the must-have casual

The wooden studded clog, and the cute leatherette tan tasseled bag Roanne really likes.

Saben Says, studs! A studded shoulder bag and matching chain belt.

The sterling silver Saben Says jewellery line with an Oriental influence, in origami boxes, bamboo bracelets and folded cranes, worn by Roanne.

All available at The Warehouse.
