Evolution Clothing owner Miranda Cobb is launching her exclusive hand-crafted leather shoes brand, SevenDeadlySins, co-designed by Lilah Winchester.
Miranda says it pushes the boundaries with a twist of vintage and a hint of avant garde. They are definitely statement pieces.
The colour palette includes basic black and perennially-popular tan as well as the current fave, leopard print, in a range of suede, leather and wood textures.
Miranda says she has received an overwhelming response from retailers to the collection which will be available in April from selected fashion boutiques and online at www.sevendeadlysins.co.nz.
“We’re really excited to be launching SevenDeadlySins. We feel there is a gap in the market for New Zealand designed leather shoes that are edgy and fashion forward," says Cobb.

Miranda is the owner of the successful fashion brand Evolution Clothing, with four boutique stores nationwide and an online boutique www.evolutionclothing.co.nz
“My background in retail, wholesale, and international buying, has given me valuable insights into the needs of both consumers and retailers. My dream for the brand is that women would leave the store – not with their shoes in a bag – but walking them out the door,” says Cobb.
Torino in Beige ($359)
SevenDeadlySins will not be stocked in Evolution but targeted towards high-end boutiques throughout New Zealand and Australia. Prices range from RRP$200 – $400 and will be available in stores April 2011.
