Merino in summertime? No sweat.
Icebreaker, well-known for several technological breakthroughs in functional sports fabrics, has come up with its lightest EVER weight (120gsm for fabric nerds out there) to keep your cool.
Pictured left: So pretty! Rebecca Toomer (Global Brand and International Photography Manager for Icebreaker) with children’s tops with ‘Icebreaker’ text forming an iguana lizard, and a summer flower print.

Willow top in grey marle in lightweight summer merino.
Artist Penny Stotter, a contemporary New Zealand printmaker, has designed these prints for ummer tops. Thread adores the burst of neon brights.
You may think of Icebreaker as exclusively doing knits, but they have started doing wovens now, as well. This means that now one can wear Icebreaker head to toe.
These cute-as-anything grey shorts in 70% merino, 30% cotton, are so stylish, Rebecca wore them to NZ Fashion Week with boots last year. They will be cutting them as trousers for next winter too.

Summer 2013 will hit stores late September. For info on where to buy see www.icebreaker.com
