tk Store launches summer

Turet Knuefermann’s summer collection preview at the tk Store in Ponsonby attracted many of Auckland’s fashion elite to the airy relaxed boutique and before long the store was buzzing with guests flocking to the new pieces in beautiful summery colours…

Turet Knuefermann concretes her standing both in the New Zealand fashion industry and internationally. With two stores, one in Brown St, Ponsonby and one in High Street, Auckland CBD, the brand tk has flourished over the past year.

Her collections are a breath of fresh air among New Zealand’s top designers, with a style that is elegant and relaxed. The use of colour is gives her pieces that much more sophistication, especially amidst all the black which many of our top designers seems to always fall back on.

The new SS 2010 collection features effortless, feminine designs that exude understated glamour. The pieces are luxurious made from top quality fabrics, yet easy to wear.

tk envisages a woman that is confident, successful, and sophisticated able to inject her own individual style into every ensemble. Below: a bird-print dress from tk’s Summer 2010/2011 collection. The print adds a nice touch to the simple cut of the dress. This was one of our favourite pieces.

The summer collection preview on Wednesday 30th June at the tk Store at 50 Brown Street in Ponsonby attracted many of Auckland’s fashion elite. What is an airy relaxed boutique by day swiftly becomes a different place when mood lighting welcomes a fun-loving crowd.

The store was buzzing and everyone loved the collection, people quickly flocked to the new summer pieces, happily drinking and having a great time.
