This is easily the coolest thing to happen to Birkenhead for quite some time.
An exciting new warehouse, tattoo studio, and exhibition space opened on June 15th just down the road from Birkenhead library on Auckland’s North Shore, and Serena Fagence headed along to check it out.
White Rabbit Ink, run by Ace Alexander and Lucy Lincoln, is a contemporary and edgy newcomer to the region. Downstairs is a large gallery and events area – with a recording studio still in progress – run by Cam aka the Rubix foundation.
The grand opening saw guests gather for a magic show, art exhibition, live graffiti art and a chance to see some of what White Rabbit Ink has to offer, including incredible views of Auckland city lights.
