Republic Revolution launched their new winter range with a lunch at Malt in Grey Lynn displaying the new homewares pushing the boundaries in colour.
Interior design duo, Peter Reid and Graham Dickie, bring another inspiring range from Republic Revolution as part of The Warehouse’s Design for Everyone programme. "After last season’s grey we wanted to push the boundaries with colour, using a beautiful mustard (very Colemans!) and magenta.
Thread thought a nice touch was including four pillowslips in with your duvet now, instead of two.
“Retro is back and a strong trend in our winter range, adding style and colour to your home,” says Reid. “Coordinate this look with a range of mod-style black and white placemats or delicious charcoal brown throws, cushions or table settings in bold prints and funky patterns to instantly update any room and add a touch of fun!”
Thread loved these yellow and red floral cushions.
Achieve the perfect finish with a mustard yellow vase or statement candle with hints of fuchsia and olive green. Guests are sure to be impressed with contemporary wine glasses, teamed back with metallic gold or silver vases, which create a seductive look on any dining table.
Allyson Gofton, ambassador for The Warehouse Home range, says the key trend for this winter is foliage. "In May there’s a range called ‘Fortune" with gorgeous chocolates and reds."
There are leaf prints in accents of Bossa Nova red, Capulet Olive and Golden Olive. Hues of brown, beige and taupe are a strong colour palette across the Home category, along with the seasonal cross-over colours, Lyon Blue and neutrals, which add consistency and familiarity to your home throughout the winter season.
Polkadots were a fun pattern in crockery and baking tins.
