Big news in beauty: the very first Elizabeth Arden boutique in Asia-Pacific, has opened, right here in Queen Street, central Auckland. Top media gathered to toast the opening, and VIP guests from Elizabeth Arden had flown in for the red carpet launch.

But this is no mere retail store; it is a facial and soon to be blow-dry bar (coming next year), as well. In two rooms out the back of the store, Facialists perform facials, manis, lashes, brows, and more services. The very friendly and lovely store manager was telling me how they’re also open to doing exciting things such as fashion shows using the length of the store as a runway, or seated presentations, or private functions and pamper parties in the future. There are so many possibilities, now they have a dedicated stand-alone store space.
Colour Matching Foundation
Another highlight of the store is the coup of having one of only three colour matching foundation machines in the world! Incredible. Technicians will make your perfect colour matched foundation and you can get your name printed on the label.
