ECCO draws on Scandinavian heritage for Winter 2015

ECCO draws on its Scandinavian heritage for Winter 2015, with their high-quality range of footwear that marries the urban environment with natural materials and expert construction. The fashion shoe brand from Denmark draws inspiration from the trend Rendering Nature, using fur, leather, and cow fur alongside hi-tech Direct Injection Technology to make casual shoes and sneakers as well as dress shoes, even more comfortable. This AW15 season, they have introduced the colours Midnight Blue and Green Gables to the range of black, burgundy, rust brown and espresso to complement winter fashion.

The ankle boot trend is stronger than ever and has taken prominence over knee-high boots. There are shelves full of beautiful ankle boots either flat or with a slightly raised heel. For dressier wear, there are heeled ankle boots that go to 75mm.

One that stood out was the patent Chelsea boot with elastic sides to slip on and off easily. Another was the motorcycle-inspired metallic leather Cleo boot ($389).

Some of our favourites included the cheetah-spotted cow fur shoe ($279), the grey wool felted winter boot, the metallic bronze sneaker, and the fur-lined black leather ankle boot, and many many more. The handbags were also really gorgeous, and I model some, below.
