The Week on Thread Episode 20

How’s your week been? As a mum, I’ve been juggling the last week of the term before school and kindy holidays, with a packed schedule of fashion and beauty events so it’s been busy but lots of fun! Read about ‘The week on Thread Episode 20′ to see highlights of my week in photos all taken with the in-cred-i-ble camera on the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ I’ve been trialling.

The highlight of last week was the Britomart Fashion Progressive Lunch where guests who bought tickets to the lunch saw five short in-season Spring Summer fashion shows at five restaurants that we walked around in teams over two and a half hours of eating, drinking and chatting. It was amazing! I’d definitely recommend doing this next time if you can. First up was Taylor boutique at Seafarers for Champagne and canapes to begin.

Ahoy there – Kathryn Wilson footwear showed retro pin-up girls in custom-made navy playsuits with victory roll hairstyles by Danny Pato at D&M salon, and guys in sailor pants and drawn-on tattoos!

Treats in the Britomart goodybag thanks to World, Zambesi, Taylor, Kathryn Wilson, Trelise Cooper, KMS, Neutrogena, MAC, Cadbury, The Landing, Flossie, Otakiri, Faby nails, Kiehl’s, and Mindfood. Pretty damn impressed that Taylor Boutique gave everyone a limited edition pleated wrap top.

I headed into Ponsonby’s Sapphire Rom to see the Christmas presentation and get hands-on with Spotlight and make a decorated cupcake with Karla Goodwin of Bluebells Cakery.

Seeing Cats on stage in Auckland was such a highlight for me last week, and I got to take my children in to see the cast perform some numbers at the Civic theatre up close!

This very cute cafe has opened in Mokoia Road Birkenhead called Manna Cafe and Brother Digital got me a coffee card to enjoy there – so good!
