We are well into March now, and highlights already this month have been Auckland City limits music festival at Western Springs and my trip down to Dunedin for iD Fashion Week Emerging Designer Awards Show and Railway Station Show. There’s also been the Samsung Remix party, Wynn Hamlyn’s fashion show, Freedom Furniture launch, We’ar clothing winter launch, and Grey + Wild in Takapuna. Here’s The Week On Thread Episode 39 in pictures…

If you love ethically-made sustainable fashion you’ll want to check out We’Ar clothing’s new AW16 collection, Wolf. Loving my tree print skirt! Also we have a review and photos by Angela @astylecollector live on thread.co.nz now.
Such a cool venue for the Freedom Furniture winter showcase at Pocket Kitchen Grey Lynn; always adore painted old brick buildings. Mural by artist Margarita Vovna.
I went into the BEST children’s store I have seen in Auckland today for my first time; it’s called Grey + Wild and it’s at 8 Hurstmere Road Takapuna. The owner was so knowledgeable and stocks ethically-produced, super cute children’s wear from New Zealand and abroad. I’m loving nununu, Mini & Maximus, and Noe & Zoe. They also have @itsmytriangle and much more.
Kidswear I’d totally wear myself! Outfit from children’s boutique @greyandwild Takapuna; Drops leggings by Noe & Zoe, Spots Dress by nununu World.

Enjoying the festival vibes here at Auckland City Limits @aclfestivalnz As well as the incredible line-up – including my personal highlights: Kendrick Lamar, Naked & Famous, and The National – I was impressed with the clean environment, yum food options, the rubbish recycling and the reusuable plastic cups which I have kept as a souvenir.
How much fun is people watching at festivals?! At Auckland City Limits festival down at Western Springs today ??
