Beauty media converged upon Wynyard Quarter this week to meet the new lipstick, YSL Tatouage Couture, at the exclusive Yves Saint Laurent Beauty Club on March 15th. It was an evening of rock chic glamour, YSL pampering and live entertainment at Mason Brothers warehouse venue at 139 Pakenham Street West.
The warehouse was coloured with red lights projecting the YSL high onto the brick walls. After photos on a logo wall, guests were given a lipstick to get engraved with their own name at an engraving station – and a golden glass of Champagne, from Moet et Chandon.
A beauty station with makeup artists gave guests the chance to try out Tatouage Couture, named for the tattoo trend with its long-lasting matte formulation yet naked feel.
A tattoo station took the theme literally with temp stick on tattoos giving skin YSL logos.

YSL Tatouage Couture lipsticks are on counter 5th March at Farmers and selected department stores for $69 in 18 shades.
