Mini Fashion Shoot: New Zealand Fashion AW19 with Leo+Be, Ketz-ke and Loobie’s Story
Autumn is coming! Check out my AW19 mini fashion shoot above. I’m wearing new season winter by New Zealand labels Leo+Be, Ketz-ke and Loobie’s Story.
Leo + Be and Ketz-Ke are both created by Auckland-based designer Jenny Drury, who says she saw a gap in the Australasian market between boutique and streetwear with feminine styling and a distinctive creative edge. This AW19 the Ketz-Ke collection is entitled ‘Desert Nights’ and is inspired by keeping warm in cold desert nights in hints of fur, mottled wool coats, textured knits, and soft cosy sweats.
LEO+BE is the label’s younger sister offering trend-focused affordable, versatile fashion.
Loobie’s Story is a much-loved label by longtime New Zealand fashion designer Laurinda Sutcliffe who describes her label as “a taste of what’s happening around the world; the things I have coveted the most; a merging of urban essentials with a little bit of the exotic, everyday.” Loobie’s Story is particularly great at Moroccan-inspired prints on silks with brocades and lace for a special ornate look.
Outfit 1: red pants and top by Leo + Be with red purse by Witchery;
Outfit 2: checked suit by Ketz-ke with shoes and polkadot scarf by Witchery;
Outfit 3: velvet top, fringed scarf, lace dress, and pink faux fur collar all by Loobie’s Story with my own pink shoes by Gorman.
