We don’t usually look this glamorous as mothers, but for a day Michiko and I got to smile, chat, and delicately nibble, for a High Tea shoot at Cordis Auckland.
For a video shoot, make up needs to be a little heavier than you would normally do it, so I put on l o t s – especially foundation – and tried not to eat off all my lipstick.
As for costuming, they asked if we could wear either a hair piece as they wanted to give the shoot a luxe vibe. Clothing had to be dressy and neutral, so no stripes, solid black, solid white or busy patterns.
They hired a photographer and assistant, and a videographer, and a harpist!
