Now the weather is getting warmer, and we’ve passed Daylight Saving and the evenings are stretching out past twilight our thoughts tend towards getting out of the house, dressing up, and the feeling of warm summer air on bare skin. For all of this, a dress is perfect. After all, we don’t call it “dressing up” for nothing!
In this How To Dress column we take a look at party dressing for Summer 2019 with a few party-perfect dresses all by Forever New.
Key trends are the feature sleeve, the floral print both large and small, and wrap front styles. Off the shoulder continues to be seen so don’t give it the cold shoulder just yet. Ruffles give lovely movement and make you feel like Dancing Lady emoji which can’t be a bad thing when you’re off to a party. Colour-wise, Kelly green is the hot new colour on everyone and does feel like you’ve turned over a new leaf.
