OUTFIT POST: What I’ve Been Wearing In June 2020

Great fun exploring Onepoto domain today with the kids. Wearing belted dotty jumpsuit by Marimekko, scarf by Pucci, shoes by Ecco Shoes.

Cosy, Autumn knits- my grandmother hand-knitted this sweater then my mum wore it, now it is mine. Vintage leather case and 70s maxi skirt teamed with New Zealand fashion; wool beret by Glassons, earrings by Ore.Design, boots by Fabia.

Nancy Drew vibes today, in this preppy look: a vintage scarf, striped white Tommy Hilfiger sweater, A.P.C. Paris tweed jacket, and drawstring faded blue Country Road jeans, with men’s style brogues.

Friday afternoon, wearing UCLA college sweatshirt, leather jacket by Karl Lagerfeld, tulle skirt by Issey Miyake, sneakers by Givenchy.

In beautiful Warkworth today celebrating my Dad’s birthday. Wearing: vintage hand-knit mohair cardi, Comme Des Garcons top, Country Road jeans, Vans shoes.

I received random acts of kindness from strangers this week I wanted to share; I was picking up some bricks in pouring rain that I was given for free, and a kind soul stopped his bike and helped me load bricks! Very grateful and it made my day. When I posted it on stories, @herharvest messaged me that she had spare bricks from the old chimney at the house they’d bought, and I was welcome to have some, so I went over yesterday and got enough to finish my path! I am so overwhelmed by all the kind people this week proving there’s so much goodness out there.

At The Tooth Company in Smales Farm. What I wore today: New Zealand fashion, dress by Trelise Cooper with nom.D over tunic, Karen Walker Benah bag and Mi Piaci boots.11w

Doing a virtual wine tasting at home during lockdown, courtesy of Taylor’s Wines and their St Andrews range. I’m wearing Dotti boyfriend faded blue jeans, thrifted jacket.

We visited the cool new-retro designed General Public bar and restaurant at Beach haven intersection in the old corner dairy store to celebrate a birthday last night. Best French fries I’ve ever had. Cute spot, will definitely be back. I wore a black beret, Ketz-ke lace leggings, and secondhand tie dye jacket.

I’m wearing silk dress by Decjuba, vintage cowboy boots, bag by Karen Walker x Benah.

She’s a blustery one out there today! On the school run with my favourite protea bush. Keeping warm wearing vintage mohair New Zealand cardy by Pascalle Knitwear, and jumpsuit by Corey Lynn Calder.

Lady Lichfield opshop shirt, country road pants, SABEN necklace, Vans shoes (gifted).

PS My son asked, “Why is your hair darker at the top, mummy?”
I think I need to go get my roots done.

Art makes my soul happy.

I headed to the Trolls World Tour premiere today, starring Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake, and it was fabulous. I highly recommend it for families this school holidays; it has a strong and inspiring message as well as all the fantastic colour and song you expect from a DreamWorks movie plus some excellent jokes that had me laughing out loud. I’m pictured with the incredible @pformnz dance group who performed before the film. Look out for the cameo by Ozzy Osbourne!

Let’s play the blues.

Vintage blue boucle jacket, thrifted beaded tulle longsleeve top, secondhand lace floral skirt worn over Ketz-ke leggings and Mi Piaci navy leather boots.

See you next month!
