The Red Hot Chili Peppers may have sung Under The Bridge, but I had a much quieter time, under Auckland Harbour Bridge for my mini-shoot in eveningwear and a mask.
It’s easy to practice stylish social distancing, down on the concrete foundations at this semi urban, semi industrial end of the North Shore next to the boat yards but I felt slightly overdressed next to the fishing vessels it has to be said. At least I wasn’t the only one in netting, pun intended. An ideal outfit for ‘Fishin’ Week’, perhaps?
I wore a long embroidered net dress which I had taken the sleeves off earlier, and a mask I sewed from the spare fabric offcuts, giving me a matching set. My boots are from Mi Piaci and earrings from Lovisa.
