I headed into Daily Bread in Belmont, near Devonport, yesterday to try their delicious pastries… mmmmmm… and to see Toko and try a flat white made from their fabulous coffee; the Daily Bread coffee grind.
There was so much to choose from, but I had an almond croissant and some focaccia bread – okay, an entire focaccia bread – as I couldn’t put it down.

PROS
I highly recommend it for children in prams too as it has a child-friendly off-street back area, heaps of free parking, and is wheelchair accessible without stairs. It’s also great for working as it has lots of tables and power points.

CONS
Do not wear tight pants if you’re anything like me as you will want to try everything in the cabinet, particularly their donuts and pastries.

Daily Bread, 43 Eversleigh Road Belmont, is down the street opposite Takapuna Grammar on the road to Devonport. Pop in for a coffee and some pastries and maybe pick up some Christmas fruit mince tarts (RRP $22.50) and panettone (RRP $25) for the foodie in your life or for sharing on Christmas day.
