As I type the thunderstorm is just breaking and thunder is cracking across the city of sails but this morning I took a sun bathed walk amongst tropical greenery so that sums up Auckland doesn’t it, classic four seasons in a day.

OUTFIT POST: What I’ve Been Wearing In October 2023

KICKING UP MY HEELS AT THE MUSIC MAN! Wearing Trelise Cooper black lace dress, Zoe + Morgan jewellery and Zara shoes, and I found a piano keyboard handbag for the musical, you know me, I love a theme!
I took my daughter along to the premiere of The Music Man at Aotea centre last night and we both absolutely loved it! Such a talented lead and cast and the children were all incredible.

One of the most beloved musicals ever written – and recently playing on Broadway starring Hugh Jackman – The Music Man shares the stage with the Royal New Zealand Navy Band and features 24 big band songs including the hit Seventy-six Trombones and Trouble. Produced by the Amici Trust and G&T Productions who were responsible for recent musical hits Mary Poppins, Jersey Boys and Kinky Boots, this four-day music extravaganza is a premiere event delivered in association with Auckland Live.

Nothing for trans-seasonal dressing like the good old jumpsuit. I love this Flynn Skye one, an American label that I bought secondhand as it’s perfect for in-between weather and layering up.

Sweet magnolias. Spring blossoms falling like pink rain, wearing white and pink flowers dress and tulle necklace, cream leather knee-high boots by BALLY.

Got told my outfit today was giving Italian widow so I found this stone wall to be my castle. “Oh no, the Count has tripped and fallen over the ramparts. How very sad. So sad.”

Last night’s sequins of events ? Shore Mums out on a school night -in another subtle outfit combo. At Oyster & Chop with beautiful @michikohylands at Doin it Disco with DJ Phoebe Falconer.
