In Auckland last weekend for two shows, the pop star has also launched her fragrance, Purr, a range of nail lacquers with O.P.I., and she graces the new ghd campaign as the face of ghd’s Iconic Eras style collections.

Below: The purple cat-shaped bottle of Purr-fume from the sex kitten herself. It opens with a fresh citrus with peach nectar and green bamboo. Supporting notes include jasmine, freesia and Bulgarian rose, balanced by vanilla orchid, white amber, creamy sandalwood and musk.

Purr by Katy Perry is available in May 2011 exclusively to Farmers retailing at $118 for 100 mls, $90 for 50 mls and $65 for 30 mls.

Although known for the sexy lycra-clad looks and outlandish bras emsembles in her stage costumes and music videos, Katy Perry shows her versatility evoking different eras as the face for the new campaign from hair styling giants ghd.

Their new Iconic Eras style collections form three looks: New Wave – right out of the Eighties, Boho Chic that any Seventies sister would be proud of, and Glamour with a Hollywood siren that could almost be a homage to Elizabeth Arden.
