I started wearing the new Wonderstruck fragrance by Taylor Swift everyday when it arrived, which surprised me pleasantly as I thought, Pretty face, lovely voice, but how good is her nose when it comes to making a fragrance?
As it turns out, she’s NOT just a pretty face, and a great voice, but a good nose, as well.
The Wonderstruck bottle is an irridescent purple with a golden embossed lid, complete with a bird, star, and empty cage charms, inside a beautiful Moroccan-style decorative box.
The perfume is a collaboration with Elizabeth Arden and the first fragrance from Taylor Swift.
The name comes from her song Enchanted, with the lyric "I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home" about the first time you meet someone. She hopes it captures the feeling of the rush of an instant connection with someone.
Taylor Swift created the fragrance with perfumer Olivier Gillotin to be a floral with vibrant fruits. It has notes of golden amber and sandalwood, with vanilla at the heart.
And how gorgeous is Taylor Swift in the ad campaign, wearing Christian Siriano – a past winner of Project Runway- from his Spring Summer 2011 collection? Positively Princess material.
The 100ml spray retails for $142 and it’s in-store at Farmers and selected stores from 7th November 2011.
It’s definitely one to sing about.
