Billion Dollar Brows brow guru, Natalie Plain, come to Auckland and spoke with New Zealand beauty media and bloggers about her brand, and new products including the Billion Dollar Brows kit and the very sparkly and fun new release called Glitter Brows, that you can see pictured above.
The Mad About Brows palette ($59) contains four shades of brow powder as well as a sculpting wax to keep stray hair firmly locked in line. The applicator is double ended, with an angled brush, and wand for smoothing hairs. The four shades included in the palette are Blonde/Light Brown, and Taupe Raven. You could easily use the darkest shades as eyeliners if you are fair and do not use them for your actual brows, making this quite versatile. There is a mirror and the whole compact is nice and slimline which is handy for the purse or office drawer for day-to-night touchups.
The brand, co-founded by Natalie Plain in 2004 in LA, is the only cosmetic company that deals solely in eyebrow health and beauty. Brows (nod here to Cara Delevingne) are a huge beauty trend that is not going anywhere – strong brow game is here to stay – and new trends such as ombre brows (different shades on your brows using the palette shades) and the daring new Glitter Brow means makeup fans can experiment more widely than ever before.
