I was lucky enough to not only meet celeb hairstylist Barney Martin this week, but get my own hair styled by the Brit hairstylist extraordinaire in a hairstyling session using the latest Pantene products.
I headed in to Stephen Marr salon in Ponsonby on Monday for lunch (Mint Kitchen – amazing) and met Barney. I had my hair washed at the basins using Pantene and the treatment that Barney recommended for my hair – the anti-frizz.
Next, Barney blowdried and styled my hair using their new styling products and I love the result with loads of volume and curl. Pic below from my phone.
In other news, actress Shavaughn Ruakere has partnered with Pantene is the latest Kiwi ambassador for Pantene, the brand that helped launch the career of Rachel Hunter in the early ‘90s on the tele ad with the famous line; “It won’t happen overnight…but it will happen”.
Ruakere is the face here for Pantene’s new formulation with Keratin Damage Blockers to help defend hair against irreversible oxidative damage. “Working as an actress can be tough on my hair with constant styling, so the new formula in Pantene to help prevent damage is really important to me,” says Ruakere. “It helps my hair stay shiny, clean and lightweight despite the amount of product and heat styling I put it through. After one wash, I can feel the difference!” www.pantenepromise.co.nz
