Here’s the new L’Oreal Paris colour collection for Autumn Winter 2015 in my flat lay. From the much-acclaimed Miss Manga mascara, new lip and eye colours, a brow mascara wand and more, I take a look at the new L’Oreal Paris makeup releases for February/March 2015 as we head into Autumn here in New Zealand.
With a name like “Miss Manga”, clearly drawing upon the Japanese influence of doll-like lashes, I thought I’d photograph this latest L’Oreal Paris mascara against my Japanese Frozen comic. I hand-coloured it in using only this new colour collection from L’Oreal. It’s actually excellent for the price; it has a great consistency and didn’t clump with two coats and added loads of volume to my lashes. Be a Harajuka Girl with mega volume lashes and layer ’em on! $25.99 and only in black.

Brow Artist Plumper
This is a brand new addition to their cosmetics ranges – a ‘brow mascara’ wand in a choice of three shades (02 Blonde, 04 Dark Brunette and 05 Transparent for a clear gloss if you don’t want colour added.) I’m wearing this brow gel mascara myself today – in the lightest of the three shades, as I am fair. It was easy and quick to apply and similar to the Benefit Gimme Brow I have and love. It has a cheaper price point at $19.99.
L’Ombre Pure Eyeshadows
The brand new Colour Riche L’Ombre Pure eye shadows in this season’s collection are their first gel-infused eye shadow formulation so they glide on incredibly smoothly. They ten shades are all singles rather than colour palettes. They actually are mostly earthy colours, so I shot them with my terrarium – they are very Autumnal and shades of brown with a beautiful shimmery chocolate pictured bottom left. L’Ombre Pure are $19.99 in ten shades, including the purple and the two metallic shades I shot separately below here.
The exception to these earthy colours is this pop of purple eyeshadow which I have pictured with the Miss Manga mascara, on my Japanese carp and waterlily silk scarf. It’s a lovely pretty lilac shade.
Also in the L’Ombre Pure eyeshadow range come these two metallic shadows with corrugated surfaces: 502 Quartz Fume and 500 Gold Mania. The gold one on the left is the shadow I am wearing today, and that I used to paint on Elsa’s hair in the comic above.
Infallible 2-Step Lip Colour
This lip colour does NOT budge! I have had mine on for 7 hours and it’s just fading. It is on the dryer side though. I could definitely feel it on my lips. I wore Toujours Teaberry, a lilac-pink shade. There are four new colours to add to the existing range: 213 Toujours Teaberry, 507 Relentless Rouge, 700 Boundless Burgundy, and 701 Captivated By Cerise. They retail for $29.99 each.
True Match Blush
There are SO MANY shades in this blush collection, I can hardly believe it – seven shades, which you hardly ever see in blushers. They add to the existing True Match foundation with powder blushers retailing at $27.99 each.
Also adding to the True Match range are these four shades of concealer which retail at $25.99 each. They are: 10 Ivory, 30 Beige, 40 Natural and 20 Vanilla. They’re all quite light in skin tone. I drew on under my eyes and then blended it in then applied my BB cream.

ON MY FACE
Today’s face – new L’Oreal Paris releases Miss Manga mascara, brow gel, Perfect Match concealer, Toujours Teaberry Infallible lip. The result? Ten hours later, the eyeshadow and the concealer are still going strong. Also, my courier said I was looking beautiful!
Here are the products used on my face above.
