ON MY FACE: My everyday makeup

In this second instalment of ON MY FACE, I showcase my everyday makeup. It is an assortment of old and new high-performers; ones I’ve had for ages and hit pan on, and some new ones to come across my path recently. Here are some of my go-to faves in this snapshot of makeup that I’m wearing today…

Estée Lauder Double Wear Light stay-in-place makeup SPF10 is a nice lightweight foundation with more coverage than your average BB cream and a very fluid, creamy finish that stays all day.

M.A.C in Studded Kiss is a great deep brick blackened red I adore. My only fault with it is that it’s so matte that it can be drying.

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Knockout Mascara is very lengthening without clumping so you get nice separated lashes.

Moroccanoil argan oil is a classic for good reason and gets rid of my fluffy dry flyaway hair.

Riri x MAC bronzing powder is a colab that MAC did a while back with Rihanna that had a gold R on the top which has long gone and is now a nice warm bronzer shade.

Bobbi Brown nude finish illuminating powder is the brand new one on this list. It’s a highlighting/illuminating powder in the Bobbi Brown “brick” layout of six shades with a combination of matte and shimmer shades that I simply swirl the brush around and apply to cheekbones.

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color High Intensity liquid eyeliner in Jet Black is a really easy to use felt tip style liquid liner pen. I like that it says put and doesn’t run as I apply it and has a rich dark opaque line rather than some of the liquid liners which go on a bit transparent.

MAC brush This versatile 187SE bronzing powder brush has a cool gold and white handle and great bristles that don’t fall out as there’s nothing worse than having hairs left on your face after applying makeup.
