Japanese-born, Wellington-based label ‘Otsu’ has returned to Miss Crabb’s boutique in Ponsonby Road Auckland with its complete Spring Summer 2011/12 collection of loosely-structured women’s pieces.

The first pieces of the new SS2012 collection ‘no title’ have just arrived in store.

1300 years ago, albeit briefly, Otsu was the capital of Japan. It lends its name to this label with a collection of solid colour blocks in a palette of turquoise, lilac, black and white for Spring and Summer.

Silhouettes drape loosely on the body and feature geometric shapes of squares and a banana-motif smiling back at you.

Miss Crabb has stocked Otsu in the shop since 2005. "We are very excited about the welcome return of the beautiful aesthetic of Otsu to Miss Crabb" says Miss Crabb’s Leilani Heather.
