Famous French photographer Jean-Paul Goude featured seven celebrities in the campaign shoot for brand new KENZO x H&M colab line out next month.
The incredible fashion house KENZO has teamed up with fast-fashion label H&M to bring their latest affordable line of designer colabs to their customers, including the new New Zealand H&M store located in Sylvia Park and opening on 6th October 2016. It’s not available in every H&M store, so it’s really good news for Auckland that it’ll be in our one. Half a decade ago, KENZO had a youthful injection of energy when it was taken over by Humberto Leon and Carol Lim and Humberto Leon of Opening Ceremony. Brace yourself for LOTS of the characteristic clashing colours and their signature tiger stripe.
The seven celebrities are an eclectix mix of fashion, film, music and more, with Iman – Supermodel, Activist and Founder of IMAN Cosmetics; Rosario Dawson – Actress and Activist and Co-Founder of Studio 189; Chance The Rapper – Hip hop Artist; Ryuichi Sakamoto – Musician and Composer; Chloe Sevigny – Actress; Suboi – Rapper; and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez – Activist and Leader of Earth Guardians, all dressed in KENZO x H&M colourful printed gear for Goude’s photos. They are cleverly influencing his images from 1972 in the campaign, which will debut on 17th October ahead of the garments landing in stores.
You can watch Goude speak about the shoot on Youtube here.
