The True Cost documentary – who really pays for our clothes?

The True Cost documentary is a fashion film that asks the tough question; who really pays for our clothes?  It is often the lowly paid workers in bad conditions that pay the true cost for fast fashion. The True Cost film is screening, in partnership with She Made This and Good On You New Zealand, at Sylvia Park on 1st October 2016.

An opportunity to discover why our clothing choices matter.

The True Cost Director, Andrew Morgan: “This is a story about clothing. It’s about the clothes we wear, the people who make them, and the impact the industry is having on our world. The price of clothing has been decreasing for decades, while the human and environmental costs have grown dramatically. The True Cost is a groundbreaking documentary film that pulls back the curtain on the untold story and asks us to consider, who really pays the price for our clothing?”
