Highlights of my week on Thread in photos.
The classic Wellington bar, Matterhorn, has now opened in Drake Street in Auckland’s Victoria Park in Drake Street. Delicious food and my new favourite cocktail the Falling Water: Chi, 42 Below vodka fejoia, and a slice of cucumber.
Live jazz outside a packed party at Sills & Co as Caroline Sills celebrates her new store at 220b Jervois Road.
Babes! Colin Mathura-Jeffree and Kathryn Wilson at Sills & Co.
Having a lovely start to the day- great coffee and reading magazines at Blaze hair.
How cool is this guy?! Mana Dave of Blaze is not only the nicest person ever, he’s also just won Goldwell Hairdresser of the Year 2015 at Industry. Congrats Mana!
On Saturday we had a family trip overnight to Matakana and stayed at Martin’s Bay holiday camp and visited the free Donkey Sanctuary at Algies Bay. Read all my tips and hints on Thread. Below: At Charlie’s Gelato Garden Matakana.
I met Tink, at Sunday’s NZ premiere of the fabulous new Disney film Tinkerbell & the Neverbeast.
It’s my lucky month for meeting cool characters, as I met Oh at the premiere of Dreamworks HOME movie only last Sunday too.
Speaking of kids, last Sunday we visited the breakfast launch party of the very impressive new children’s playground area at Kelly Tarltons. My children were refusing to leave it, it was so good.
What I wore on Monday (next to a poster only wearing Bobbi Brown) my makeup by Olivia at Bobbi Brown Britomart. Top I sewed, shoes Kathryn Wilson, skirt Hospice.
I had a mini makeover at Bobbi Brown Britomart with their Illuminating Nudes range. Makeovers are free to the public.
Healthy lunch today at the beauty media event for scientific skincare breakthrough brand, Mitoq, at Spark Lab.
The Cinderella glass slipper is on display at Hoyts Sylvia Park and my fairy daughter loved it today when we saw Tinkerbell and the Neverbeast.
I couldn’t be more excited if they were tickets to a Ball at the palace- my Cinderella tickets arrived with MAC Cinderella makeup!
These flowers perfectly sum up the new season colours at the Max AW15 showcase; rich jewel tones, as well as soft grey colour ways.
Incredibly yum lunch of smashed avocado and feta toast at Orphans Kitchen, hearing about the new AW15 Max collections, with fashion editors today. Some beautiful pieces coming to look out for. I’ve ordered a divine black wool cape.
