Graze in Queenstown was the picture-perfect setting for Kelly Coe’s Augustine Spring Summer 15/16 runway show on November 26th, using non-professional models to walk – many of whom were Graze staff and former staff – over canapes and flutes of Piper Champagne. The Augustine fashion show saw Auckland-based designer Kelly and husband Nathan, hosted at their friends Hamish and Jana McPherson’s restaurant Graze, in Lake Hayes.
The gorgeous Kelly Coe has owned Augustine International for almost 8 years, with 75 stockists in New Zealand and she is just about to launch a store in Melbourne.
Charlo is her affordable diffusion line. The name originated because she loved the name Harlo, but her husband Nathan didn’t like it, so it became Charlo. The cheaper line is now selling faster than the main Augustine brand. Coe is also about to launch a plus-size range brand early next year. She is extremely down to earth and we absolutely loved her; a super inspiring woman.
On her Facebook page, Kelly Coe commented, “We are heading home now back to Auckland. Thank you Graze for the most fabulous night. Such a fun group of 115 woman that turned up and they were nearly all wearing colour. Which made me smile A LOT. Lovely venue and so nice to have a night away with my favourite person.”
