Unlike many so-called "mineral make-up" brands, Australian mineral cosmetics brand Nude by Nature is ideal for even sensitive skins as it’s free of irritating chemicals Bismuth, Talc and is totally paraben-free.

The four-step make-up system has shades to suit most complexions with a light formulation that won’t sink into lines as some powders are wont to do.

The steps for a perfect face are as follows: primer, mineral powder, blush, and set with finishing powder.

Step 1: Primer

Begin with a good base for foundation by applying a layer of Undercover Airbrush Primer which contains antioxidants Green Tea, Paw Paw, and Vitamin E.

Step 2: Mineral Powder.

Dip the brush in the powder and tap off the excess and blend onto the skin. I used Natural Mineral Cover SPF15 in Light and found it had a truly good coverage. It is probably one of the best heavy coverage powder foundations I’ve used. They recommend using it to cover a multitude of ills such as redness, enlarged pores, birthmarks and even rosacea.

I found Nude By Nature’s Kabuki brush to be incredibly soft, very reasonably priced at only $18.99, and I like that it’s animal cruelty free, too.

Step 3: Blush

Now you’ve got your canvas sorted, it’s time to add colour so your face doesn’t look flat. This is the time to add blush or bronzer. Get a faux tan with a wash of Mineral Bronzer for a sun-kissed glow. For cheekbones, brush on Virgin Blush. Believe me when I say that a litle of this blush goes a LONG way; in fact, you may only ever buy one of these pots as it will last so long! I used a tiny sprinkling on my brush and it was enough to add a rose tint.

Step 4: Set with powder.

Set your make-up with finishing powder Natural Finishing Veil. Its reflective particles will keep shine under control by absorbing excess oil and lock in your foundation to last the day.

For highlighting, Soft Focus Illuminator can be applied to highlight brow bones and cheeks.
