I’m loving: my favourite Fitbit yet – the awesome Fitbit Blaze.
Fitbit gets fashionable
Who’s a fan of the tan? This is just so fashion. It’s like the fitness world’s answer to the Burberry trench, Victoria Beckham LBD, or Chanel bag – a smart watch in camel leather that goes with absolutely everything. It is, in fact, my favourite Fitbit yet, with its fashion tan leather strap – the Fitbit Blaze smart fitness watch comes with a pop-out face you can change straps on.
Make it your own
Customizing is such a key buzz word in fashion for the past few seasons, and the concept that you can swap out and make objects your own is so strong still as we seek to make tech more personalized. Now you can, with the pop-in, pop-out straps on the Fitbit Blaze. Match or clash? The option is yours.
Tech specs
The Fitbit Blaze’s PurePulse Heart Rate function means you can have wrist-based heart rate and simplified heart rate zones continuously and automatically to hand (excuse the pun.)
You can record a variety of sports that you partake in, including running, cycling, cross training, weights and other workouts (for me, mostly walking around shops, but this is very motivating!
The Blaze can give you ‘FitStar workouts’ with step-by-step instructions like a personal trainer that you wear on your wrist. And, at the end of the workout, you can see workout summaries in detail. This is really nice for keeping track of your improvements over time.
Keeping up with the classics
The classics you know and love are all there too; you can still track steps, the distance you have walked, the calories you burned, the floors you climbed, and the total minutes you were active for.
SmartTrack
SmartTrack is the Fitbit trade-marked term for the very clever wee functionality of automatically recognizing certain physical activities and recording them in the exercise section of the Fitbit app.
But wait there’s more cool functions
Other cool functions of the Blaze include call and text notifications, calendar alerts, auto sleep tracking, music control, and to sync stats wirelessly to your smartphone or computer.
Love it? Want one?
