OUTFIT POST: What I’ve Been Wearing In November 2020

An explosion of happy colour celebrating Christmas, all decorated by the talented Evie Kemp, at today’s Christmas cupcake decorating tutorial by Jess Cakes, with Spotlight.
Spotlight has so many ways to make it merry and bright this Christmas whether you’re a skilled craft maker or after home ware festive items.
The chandelier in the centre of the room was made by Evie using torn strips of brocade and fabric over hoops as a creative – and cheaper- alternative to ribbon.
After the event, everything was donated to Woven Earth to support those leaving women’s refuge, so their empty homes will have this Christmas joy in it now.

What I wore today, at Takapuna Sunday Markets. Vintage shirt, floral skirt by Portmans, and white cowboy boots by Mi Piaci.

Vintage style, with Michiko Hylands at birkenhead library. Twinning in our cowboy boots with vintage bought supporting @kristinredcross red cross opshop.

Masked up at Stolen Girlfriends Club’s music and fashion show. The invite was a Stolen Girlfriends Club logo face mask to wear to the event.
Models walked up a steel staircase and the length of an enormous structure set up in Shed 10, to the sounds of live musicians and DJs. The show production was really impressive and so well executed.

Happy 10th birthday celebration, Savar beauty. I remember Savar launching ten years ago, by New Zealand artist Vicki Woolford, who sent me the most beautiful paintings of roses she’s done, made into cards. Now it’s an international selling brand and catching the eye of beauty industry celebrities in China.

Sunny day for cocktails at Madam Megan’s House of Tea, at my 1920s theme high tea birthday party at home today.

At Newmarket Event boutique cinema today for lunch and a festive drink, with Sony Pictures NZ, for the premiere of Happiest Season movie
Wearing Ted Baker, hair by @blaze_hair

Boy, did it feel like we were back in winter again today, or what? I’m wearing my Nana’s camel coat, Issey Miyake top, a vintage long skirt I thrifted, suede cowboy boots, and vintage Dior bag.
I’m wrapped up and headed into Newmarket to see Roald Dahl’s The Witches movie with the children.
The movie, starring Octavia Spencer and Anne Hathaway, had a fabulous cast and excellent special effects that were really quite realistic so it’s best for kids over 11. Lots of fun and scary frights, too! The Witches is in cinemas December 10th.

At Cordis with Anjuli Mack, Aia Jawad, and Michiko Hylands.

At Cordis Auckland, in a cream dress I made.
