Playing dress-up at the new Birkenhead Hospice Retro Opshop.
@birkenheadhospice has cleverly taken over the shop sandwiched between their bookshop and their secondhand fashion shop in Hammond Place just below Highpoint mall in Highbury. It’s created a fabulous retro buffet of homewares, furniture, books and some fashion.
Here I wear a cream vintage bow-front dress and a fur stole. A nice man was telling me I had to buy it as I looked a million dollars, but I’ve left it there for another shopper.
Not only will you find some amazing treasures, your money will support families and people in end of life care. A very worthy cause.
