I headed into Specsavers in Glenfield, @specsaversnewzealand for an eye exam and to try n reading glasses. Here, I’m wearing glasses by Balmain.
I renovated my bathroom and found this gorgeous Matai flooring under the blue lino! Tiles from The Tile Depot, Bath from Mico. Bathroom storage ideas all from Ezibuy. Jute rug, ladder shelf, and bath wine glass holder – I mean, soap rack, from @ezibuyhome
I baked zesty lemon coconut cake. It smells amazing. The bowls just beyond it are ceramics I collect, called Carlton Ware. Please tell me if you ever see it around in shops (but not my husband, as he thinks I have enough). Who wants cake?!
I hand-painted this mural inspired by Frida Kahlo painting, The Frame, replacing her portrait in the painting with myself in a flower garland with chilis, and the flowers with fruit and veges! I did a New Zealand fashion take on the famous Mexican artist’s work, along with this #onenightinmexico dish.
SUCH a treat to visit the stunning Karin Horen’s beautiful home today, and hear more about her journey with breast cancer and diep flap reconstruction and the launch of mastectomy swimwear line One Of Us, which will debut at New Zealand Fashion Week this month! What a genuine beautiful soul and a force for good in our world.
I’m so happy to meet the mouse himself, the big cheese, Mickey! At the meet & greet tonight at the opening show of Disney On Ice Auckland at Vector Arena with my family.
At friend Anya Brighouse’s home, for her beautiful daughter Madeleine’s 21st birthday party. Happy birthday, Madz!
I took the children up the gondola, thanks to SKYLINE Queenstown, apparently it was MUCH more fun than going to school and I am now the best mum ever! We loved the views and it didn’t even rain despite what the weather report forecast for today. An awesome experience. At Juliette Hogan Ponsonby tonight. The designer opened her beautiful new store at 182 Ponsonby Road, with the SS18 collection featuring an original art print by Australian artist Hannah who was there this evening. Shopping for pretty flowers along Ponsonby Road. Nothing lifts your mood like flowers in the house, does it?!
