In The Week On Thread Episode 121, the twenty-first column of 2018, I showcase some pics of highlights in photos of what I’ve been doing in mid-September, mostly around Auckland. It’s the highlights from my Instagram, which you can follow over at www.instagram.com/threadnz to see daily updates and what’s new.

The Week On Thread Episode 121
A beautiful bouquet from Roses chocolates brightening up my room launching their new flavours.
I had all these Little Gardens seeds in the basement from last year and wasn’t sure if they’d germinate but the children planted them and this many have sprung up!
Happy birthday party tea and Japan planning session for Juls Roulston.
How nice was this weekend?! My magnolia is in full bloom.
At Seafarers this morning with the gorgeous Erin Simpson on a beautifully sunny day, for the NZ launch of the healthy cellular function supplement, TRU Niagen. My dress by Escada, shoes Kathryn Wilson, bag Mi Piaci Overland.
Rested and restored after hand massages with Weleda today and Tim from Form and Function, over delicious healthy snacks at The Butcher’s Son in Herne Bay, learning about oils from Helen of @weledanz. Lovely to see gorgeous girls (and one baby)

Milk is back in glass bottles; who else remembers putting the bottles out at night with milk tokens? Lewis Road Creamery is the exclusive supplier of Jersey Girl Organics milk from Matamata, in 100% recycled plastic bottles, and in glass bottles at Farro stores.
Sometimes, my steps are done in high heels. What I wore today, Fitbit Ionic, Mi Piaci snow leopard ponyskin heels, Karen Walker eyewear, Marc Jacobs bag. Makeup: Stila Primer, Bobbi Brown eyeshadow palette, NARS highlighter.
On Thursday I popped in to check out the new Summer season at Ted Baker at their media fashion showcase, where the lovely store manager Tash talked us through the ranges. I especially liked that Ted Baker is part of BCI, Better Cotton Initiative, a charity ensuring ethical cotton use in the fashion industry. So many beautiful things! There’s the famous floral prints and bows, of course, but also luxe embroidery, marbled prints, hummingbirds, ornate sneakers, and something for everyone, from Race Day to weddings to workwear. Pictured: Tash of Ted Baker Britomart, Michiko Hylands, and I.
What a Friday! Wine and cheese arriving separately, to make the perfect platter combo. The fabulous fruit juice brand Barkers of Geraldine have released Fruit For Cheese pastes using their quality fruits just in time for summertime parties. Rockburn Wines of Central Otago Stolen Kiss rose is the ideal accompaniment to my summer platters. Cheese by artisan cheese producers, Whitestone Cheese Co. Marble cheeseboard by Citta.
