A warm and wonderful highlight this week was seeing Stan Walker perform at Postie 110 Years Party. The talented New Zealand singer songwriter who has come through a helluva year after cancer is an ambassador for Postie wearing menswear in their campaign. His song clip above, THANK YOU, is a lovely tribute to his mother. Not only a great singer and model, he has huge soul and integrity. A fabulous event in the Glasshouse in Morningside with a great blend of live music, a warm welcome by Postie team members, a chance to view the new season fashion, and fruity mocktails to boot.
At Blaze Newmarket having a colour with lovely Philiann and waiting for my little boy who’s had grommets surgery this morning. He’s been promised Lego for being brave. In the pic: nails by Essie, Yen magazine, earrings by Kalopsia Design, silver rings by Karen Walker.
Fresh colour by the fab Philiann at Blaze salon Newmarket. Wearing linen playsuit by Karen Walker and a vintage silk butterflies scarf. Lipstick coral.dawn by @karenmurrellofficial Boots @numberoneshoes
Pancake day! Kids were extremely excited about this one. Whose family made pancakes today?! Maple syrup is Ecuminac from Sabato.
Aotea Square looking like Paris for Speigel Tent Blanc de Blanc for Auckland Arts Festival #AKLFEST Thank you @michikohylands for a fun night! Highly recommend it but be warned you might get a bit wet!
For International women’s day today Elizabeth Arden is donating all proceeds from the Reese Witherspoon signature March On lipstick to UN Women, dedicated to gender equality and empowerment of women.
It seems to be International CAT Women’s Day too as my two cats got a courier package of Fancy Feast food and a cat bowl. They are purring like the proverbial cat who got the cream. Thanks furry much Fancy Feast.
I’m going to pretend this is a wedding anniversary cake I’ve baked but the husband will never believe me..
Actually it’s a divine cake by the clever Amy of Amy’s Secret Kitchen in celebration of Liquor King 27th birthday today and these gummy bears are CHAMPAGNE GUMMIES! I never knew there was such a thing until now.
Fresh skincare from my faves, @ultraceuticals with roses from my garden. I’ve been a long time fan of their Daily Protective Moisturiser SPF30, so I’m excited to try the tinted face version for a hint of colour. I’m also really looking forward to trying the Ultra Brightening Moisturiser Cream as it has such a gorgeous, rich luxe formulation I just know my skin will love it.
Took the children in today to the opening of Skechers 164 Queen Street Auckland store. The kids LOVED the candy claw machine as well as the Skechers Energy Lights, which are light up sneakers that you charge using a USB rather than batteries that run out. Fantastic idea! Head in tomorrow to check it out!
