THRIFTED: Menswear worn as womenswear
Menswear has always been worn for a cool androgynous look but have you considered wearing some of the pieces slightly differently to normal, to create some more unusual womenswear looks? How about wearing only the suit jacket without pants, as a dress? Or wearing a necktie, as a belt or threaded through the belt loops in your jeans – or even as a bow at your neck as you would wear a scarf? In this latest styling post, I create some outfits using only thrifted and vintage menswear; all secondhand items I got at the opshop $1 sale at Glenfield Sallies. Let’s take a look.
